How to use FAST Fix

Step 1

Clean and roughen the damaged area of the pipe with a metal file or wire brush. A clean roughened surface helps result in a successful repair.

Step 2

Apply to the pipe leak site within two minutes of mixing, forcing it into any cracks or holes.

Step 3

Open foil pouch and immerse FAST Fix in room temperature water for 10-15 seconds, squeeze the FAST Fix to allow water soak in evenly.

Step 4

Apply FAST Fix immediately around the damaged pipe area extending up to 50mm (2”) either side of the leak. It is important to apply the Wrap before the Plastic tape is cured.

Step 5

When wrapping, pull each layer tightly and firmly, using your hand to mould and squeeze the layers together. FAST Fix has a 4−5 minute work life, with full cure in 30 minutes.

For best results, the completed application should be no less than 10mm thick. Allow for 30 minutes for it to fully cured.
